Olivia Gon

Hi there!

I’m Olivia and I’m a 3rd Year Marketing and Graphic Design Major in my 2nd semester on the Conference Team as a designer :) You’ll usually find me sipping Boba Milk Tea and jamming out to Cantopop on the daily while bullet journaling & hand lettering which I share on @foreverlyliv on Instagram.

I’m also a big baseball fan! As a designer, over the past year or so I’ve gotten into sports social media and design, which I’ll be sharing a little bit about today!

From a design perspective, I love the idea of designing pretty much everything and anything, from tickets and social media graphics to stadium signage and apparel! I also love the creative freedom that comes with designing in entertainment and having different campaigns for different seasons, parts of the season, events, and more. The way that photography and type are integrated in sports to convey information is fantastic, and the cherry on top is the welcoming and supportive sports creative community online. Here are some of my favorite teams to follow on Instagram and Twitter!

Los Angeles Dodgers (MLB) {@dodgers ⋆ IGTW}

Even though they’re my home team’s rivals (GO GIANTS!) They’re one of the first accounts that introduced me to sports design! I always look forward to their new campaigns every season, which are always so unique and innovative, but still highlight that Dodger Blue! My favorites are their lineup graphics.

Orlando Magic (NBA) {@OrlandoMagic ⋆ IGTW}

The layout design this season is FANTASTIC and gives such a nice print-like feel in these digital graphics. The black and white theme with just a pop of one of their team colors is just *chef’s kiss*!

Carolina Hurricanes (NHL) {@canes ⋆ IGTW}

Also gorgeous layouts and I especially love the background textures. Not to mention their motion graphics! 😍

Thanks for reading!

Love, Liv
