WE ANNOUNCED OUR CONFERENCE⭐️

Date / Time: Saturday, April 10th 9-5pm
Location: Virtual

Interventions: Disrupt, Scout’s annual design conference, is officially BACK for another year! You can learn more on the Interventions: Disrupt website! Interventions: Disrupt is a showcase of design thinking as a driving force for social change. Our conference unites design-thinking leaders across industries and disciplines to explore design's role in creating spaces of inclusion, activism, and community. With a series of presentations, panels, and workshops, our speakers share what inspires them to remain steadfastly committed to positive change in the face of an uncertain world.

WHAT HAS LABS BEEN UP TO?👀

Throughout the Fall Semester, Scout Labs conducted research to understand the challenges and opportunities associated with community engagement in virtual spaces in the City of Boston. They will continue developing creative solutions to these challenges, such as a landing page with engagement details and accessibility resources. At the end of this project, we hope to share solutions for virtual spaces that truly support community engagement during the pandemic and beyond.

UPDATES FROM PRODUCTION📸

This semester, Production is narrowing its focus on client work through collaborations with Studio and exploring original team projects through Scout Presents. The team will continue building off their client relationship from the Fall, producing video and photo content around the brand that the Studio team created for Rooted Living, a whole food snack company. They'll also be starting a new studio collaboration this semester with the client Kaolin Beauty, a company that creates affordable and ethically-sourced makeup products. Scout Presents is a series of short-form projects that center around entertainment and exploration in creativity and design.
